Ara Gevorgyan_REMEMBER

Soldiers of the darkness, under moon's night Spreading terror, carnage, oppressive might Like a tempest raging bringing a flood Striking without mercy innocent blood Holy God who made us we bring our cries to You To mend our broken hearts and heal the scars within Take from us the pain that burns our very souls Wipe away the tears as we remember once again Desolation found where people once prayed Families led to slaughter by evil’s blade Devastation spread through once peaceful plains Generation lost the memory remains Everlasting Father we bring our pleas to You To hold us in Your hand and give us strength within Teach us how to sing and dance with songs of joy Heal this holy land as we remember once again Echoes of the martyrs call from the grave Who will speak for the ones no one could save? There is even no doubt who is to blame Shout for freedom, justice, genocide’s name Lord of all the nations we bring our prayers to You To lead us out of darkness to victory anew Shelter us in peace with Your sovereign hand Bring Your people home as we remember once again Shelter us in peace with Your sovereign hand Bring Your people home as we remember once again
